- The healthcare provider implemented surgery room software that communicated with an AI tool in the cloud once per minute to monitor patient vital signs, but application performance was frustratingly slow. RevealX showed that establishing and closing SSL connections between the operating room and the cloud was taking more time than sending the data itself. The healthcare provider dramatically improved performance by using a pool of SSL connections instead.
- RevealX identified a spike in Active Directory authentication response times—from 4-5 milliseconds up to two seconds. RevealX immediately identified this spike in response times and showed it was due to a bug in recently deployed software. Once this software was turned off, response times returned to normal.
